Tier One Module Suppliers

Ever since the early years in solar business, large scale power plants have always been largely financed by third parties. Bankability and insurance have always gone hand in hand with PV business.

BNEF Tier 1 listing is a dynamic process, subject to quarterly monitoring and changes, taking factory audits, global PV power plant monitoring and reporting, as well as the financial health of the manufacturers into account. .
On top of this Tier 1 listing, DNV GL, the world’s largest independent energy advisory and certification body, and PVEL, a leading reliability and performance testing lab for solar modules, issue scorecards that present the most comprehensive publicly available reliability test results about solar modules, and guide solar project developers, financiers, and asset owners and operators around the world to choose cost-effective and high-performance modules.

This scorecard summarizes the results of PVEL’s tests within an 18 month duration on module performance, including thermal cycling, damp heat, dynamic mechanical load sequence, and potential-induced degradation (PID). The modules that have degraded less than 2% for the entirety of the test sequence are recognized as “Top Performer” products, with whom Revolt Solar prefers to work.

QC Services

Too often, PV modules are considered a commodity product, while solar panels are the end result of a mix of choices. Therefore, 2 QC managers are continuously inspecting our modules during production and before shipment. We perform these inspections for our own shipments as well as for third parties. Revolt Solar is also putting an online QC traceability system in place. Based upon the serial number, our customers will have access to the QC report of the production batch, flash test reports and EL test pictures.

Dimension check

random measuring (diagonal, thickness, width, length)

EL testing

All EL pictures are and remain stored on our own servers

Label check

label consistency
with module type

Visual inspection

Foreign body inspection

In-line production inspections include:

BOM verification to confirm that the factory uses the approved parts and material;

Storage condition of the reference modules and related equipment calibration checks;

Incoming goods QC check, in particular for EVA and cables;

Lamination process check, especially temperature and run-through time;

Flash calibration check and random check of in-production flash tests;

Random final EL test check after module framing;

Pre-shipment inspection includes:

Type of module (Number and Type of Cells, Nominal Power, IP of junction box)

Module Dimensions check

Cable Check, including length and connector types

Junction Box Check, type and IP

Flash Test of one randomly selected module per pallet

Packing and container loading supervision

Inspector will supervise the loading of the container for each pickup. This includes:

Count check according to packing list

Visual check of packaging and protection.

Random visual check of labeling and codes of boxes and pallets

Random visual verification that panels packed correspond to the packing list and labels (compare code numbers)

Verify that modules are sorted and grouped according to the correct power ranges

Visual inspection of the container prior to loading

Witness container loading of goods

Witness sealing of container and document with photos of seal before and after container is shut

Private Label Manufacturing

Meet the technologies that will set the standards in the future PV market

In an increasingly competitive market, the future belongs to the brand owners. Revolt Solar has an extensive experience in private label manufacturing, either through co-licensing or full licensing, a procedure which finally results in the certification of your own module brand by TÜV according to the IEC 61730, IEC 61646 and IEC 61215 standards. An internationally accepted certification by TÜV helps you to become the certified owner of your own brand, define your own bill of materials, emphasize your technical strengths, gain trust and limit the liabilities of your company by means of internationally recognized inspection documents.

Thanks to long term frame agreements, we have certainty of prioritary access to our partners’ production capacity. We share these volumes with our private label clients. Apart from the traditional modules, we can provide excellent services in rather exclusive production technologies such as glass/glass modules with extended warranty, shingled cells modules and modules with N-type cells.

All private label manufacturing comes with our standard quality control during production.
